I ostatnia pocztówka, tym razem jak najbardziej porządana przeze mnie widokówka z widokiem na Basilica di Superga. Do tego świetny znaczek z Darwinem!

Z tego co wyczytałam w internecie to w 1949 roku o mury tej bazyliki rozbił się samolot, w którym leciała drużyna piłkarzy z AC Torino - chyba najlepszego klubu piłkarskiego w tamtych latach. Ich grób znajduje się właśnie w tej bazylice. Co ciekawsze owi piłkarze byli też reprezentantami Włoch.. po wypadku jedynym żyjącym z reprezentacji Włoch był bramkarz, który grał w klubie Juventusu. Hmm.. Znalazłam bardzo fajny artykuł na ten temat - Tragedia Torino, przeczytajcie, warto.

The last postcard I got yesterday. And it's one I like very much - beautiful biulding with great (but tragic) history. I was interested what's the name of this Basilic in polish, but I didn't found it. Instead of it I've read article about plane crash which happened in 1949. In this year on the walls of the basilica crashed aircraft, which fly players from the team AC Torino - probably the best football club in those years. Their tomb is located is in the basilica. What's interesting these players were also representatives of Italy .. after that accident only one player of Italy team was still living - goalkeeper, who played in the Juventus club.
